Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award


The Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award is given annually in memory of the late Wayne J. Wunder, security pioneer and founder of Continental Secret Service in Toledo, Ohio. Wayne Wunder also served as President of NCISS from 1984-1985. The award recognizes members who have made exceptional contributions to NCISS and distinguished service to the broader investigative and security profession.

Lisa Turley

The 2024 Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award was presented to Lisa Turley, of Charleston, West Virginia. Lisa is a two-term NCISS Board Chair, NCISS Past President, and Past President of the Private Investigation and Security Professionals of West Virginia (PISPWV). Lisa holds an MBA and has over 30 years of experience in the investigative field. She has extensive experience coordinating with government agencies on legislative issues. Lisa is the founder of the NCISS "Coffee and Conversations" virtual event program, which brings together members for training, discussions, and professional development.
