The Legislative Advisory Board (“LAB”) is a separate NCISS Board comprised of representatives from all State Associations. The LAB meets quarterly to discuss state legislative issues and coordinate amongst state associations, their legislative teams, and lobbyists. The LAB routinely shares information regarding state lobbying tactics, proposed legislation, and other state initiatives. That information is routinely shared with our members to advise them of state and local issues, regulations, and laws that may affect the profession. If your association is not listed, consider contacting NCISS to become a member and learning of the ongoing LAB benefits.
